Jeanne Walsh Obituary
Springfield - Jeanne Marie Walsh, 73, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on April 19th, 2021 at home with family. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, April 23, 2021 at Gor-man -Scharpf Funeral Home with Father Karl of St. Joseph Catholic Church, officiating. Jeanne wanted her funeral to be a celebration of life and requested attendees wear cheerful colors. Jeanne was born in Springfield, Missouri to Marjorie and Walter Essner on October 30th, 1947. She married Bob Walsh on November 27th, 1971. She graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in English. She owned her own bookstore, the Book Nook, and later worked at Mercy Hospital. Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ted and her sister Mary Heim She is sur-vived by her husband Bob, her children Rob Walsh and Stacey Arnold, and her grandchildren Bethany Arnold, Emily Arnold, and Reese Walsh, and her sister Carol Rauth, and nieces and nephews. Memorials may be given to St. Joseph Catholic School in Springfield. The family of Jeanne wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all those who loved and cared for her throughout her life.
