Banfield, Dr. William J. On Friday, February 2, 2007 Dr. William J. Banfield of Estero, Florida and Easton, Maryland beloved husband of Nancy Lee Banfield (nee Campbell) devoted father of William C. Banfield of Easton and Laura Ann Banfield and her husband, Daniel Kirkpatrick of Houston, TX. Also survived by two sisters, Kathleen Hammond of Huntingtown, MD and Theresa Barnes of Rocky Mount, NC, two grandchildren, Calvin Kirkpatrick and Corinne Kirkpatrick; two nieces, Melanie Waun and Susan Marshall and a nephew, William Hammond. A sister, Mary Jo Dorough, is deceased.
A Funeral Liturgy for Dr. Banfield, will be celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Easton, MD on Saturday, February 10th at 10 A.M.
Burial will be at the Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, MD
Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Dr. William J. Banfield Memorial Fund for Youth Sports (to provide YMCA scholarships for underprivileged children) at the YMCA of Talbot County, 202 Peachblossom Road, Easton, MD 21601
