Constance A. Carvalho

Constance A. Carvalho, age 73 of Danbury, died on June 30th at the Danbury Hospital. She was the wife of Nelson Carvalho. Constance was born June 4, 1938 in Danbury, the daughter of the late Clifford and Catherine (Wright) Moore. A lifelong Danbury resident, she attended Danbury High School, and was a partner with her husband in N & S Auto Sales, Danbury from 1968 to the present. Constance was also employed as a supervisor with Quali-tron/Dupont, Danbury for many years until the time of her retirement. In addition to her husband of 56 years, Constance is survived by her son, Nelson Carvalho, Jr. of Titusville, Fla.; her daughter, Susan Iapaluccio and her husband, Carmine of Danbury; one sister, Blanche Adams of Carmel, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, Christopher Carvalho, Carmine Iapaluccio III, Ray Sherrer, Melissa Carvalho, Kathryn Iapaluccio, Shannon Carvalho, and Caitlin Carvalho; two great-grandchildren, Caden Carvalho and Chase Sherrer; as well as several nieces and nephews. Constance was predeceased by her son, William L. Carvalho. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday July 6th in the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury at 11am. Burial will be in the Wooster Cemetery, Danbury. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Tuesday July 5th from 5 thru 8 p.m.
