George L. "Les" Lockerman

Lockerman, 80 MILTON -George L. "Les" Lockerman, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at Beebe Medical Center. Les was born in Milton, son of the late Leighton and Lola (Mitchell) Lockerman. He was a construction crew supervisor with the Milford Housing Developement Corporation. for six years. Les loved to volunteer and work with RC & D. He enjoyed NASCAR and working in his vegetable garden. Les was an Army veteran. In addition to his parents, Les is preceded in death by two daughters, Lisa Chanoux and Georgina Nickerson; a brother, Robert Lockerman; and sister, Margaret Dickerson. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Irene (Russo) Lockerman; a son, Keith Lockerman; and daughter, Donna Tomasetti; several grandchildren; great- grandchildren; and extended family. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2012, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton. Burial will immediately follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. Flowers are accepted or contributions can be made to Milford Housing Development Corporation, 977 E.
