Miss seeing you and that welcoming smile that let me know of the support you had in making The Dwight Neighborhood a place to feel comfortable living in.

I had the privilege of studying the organ with Phil, he was such a talented organist and instructor. I remember him as a very kind individual who always had a smile. Rest In Peace dear friend.

Phil was a dear friend and part of our extended family. I will miss his kindness and gentle disposition. We met Phil through Christ Church; he was a great friend to my mother while she served as Church Secretary. But it was more than that; he was always included in family and holiday celebrations, and over the years (more than 40) we always kept in touch. Such a sad day to hear that Phil has passed.

Dear Philip was ever so kind to me; and what a truly fine musician - sorely missed.

Mr.Prince as I knew him definitely lived up to his name a true prince he was to Ward 2 the Dwight Neighborhood. He was the first person that I had conversation with in my first campaign canvassing for Alderman here in New Haven. His encouraging conversation gave me confidence that there was a chance to bring people together for a better sense of community. Always pleasant and inviting when we met at his place and on the street in passing.
Great respect and admiration for such a real person never not having time to chat always smiling and acknowledging his Alder. You will be missed and I will forever remember our first meeting.
Rest in Heaven my Dear Sir. Prince.
