Kent, Harold D.
Harold D. Kent, 97, of New Haven passed away peacefully on October 18, 2018 at Coachman Square, Bradley Road, Woodbridge, CT. He was born September 6, 1921, a son of the late Charles and Rose Kantrowitz.
He is survived by his son Richard, daughter-in-law Lisa, his grandchildren Lindsay Kent and Sarah Doyle and his great grandson Cooper. He was the owner of Ascot Formal Shop for 40 years and then embarked on a successful career as a business broker at Levey, Miller and Maretz.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Gloria. He was a graduate of Ohio University and was a veteran of World War II.
Funeral will be graveside at B'nai Jacob Memorial Park, 200 Wintergreen Avenue, New Haven, Sunday, at 11:30 a.m. A period of mourning will be observed at 17 Bushy Ridge Road, Westport from 5-8 p.m. Sunday and Monday evenings. Memorial Contributions may be sent to Congregation B'nai Jacob c/o Harold D. Kent, 75 Rimmon Road, Woodbridge, CT 06525.
