JOHN PONTEAU Obituary

PONTEAU, JOHN STEPHEN John Stephen Ponteau, affectionately known as Johnny or JP, was born on Aug. 1, 1949 to the late Deacon Frank and Lucille Morant Ponteau. He leaves to cherish memories to his wife of 43 years, Mrs. Caroline Milton Ponteau; daughter Stephanie Ponteau-Lettsome (Shurwin) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and associates who loved him deeply. A celebration of life will be held Wed. Sept. 7, 2016 at 4 p.m. at The Springs of Life Living Water Church, 475 Howard Ave. New Haven, CT. Calling hours 3 p.m. until time of service.
