Scott Tessier Obituary
Voluntown - Scott A. Tessier 52, of Voluntown died Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Backus Hospital. He was born in Norwich on August 30, 1968 the son of the late Roger and Jeannette (Cloutier) Tessier Paquette, and step son to the late Leo Paquette.
Scott was last employed as a machine operator at the Rand Whitney Container Board in Montville. He was married to Ilene (Welch) Tessier who survives him.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Gabrielle Welch and Baylee-Lynn Tessier, his father-in-law Roland Welch, Sr., and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church in Taftville at 11:00 A.M., meeting directly at church. Mask and social distancing will be required. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers. Guillot Funeral Home of Taftville is in charge of arrangements.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Tessier family during this difficult time. I have some great memories growing up with Scott on Bundy Hill in Lisbon. Fun adventures in our grade school years then we both went to Tech for some more high school adventures. RIP Scott and thank you for the memories...

My sincerest condolences to Scott's family & friends. He was a great coworker and friend to us at Rand Whitney and I'm so sorry to hear he has passed. He will be missed by us old timers at the mill.
