Veronica Kathleen "Sue" Granzow HOBART, IN - Veronica Kathleen "Sue" Granzow, age 68, of Hobart passed away Tuesday August 29, 2017 at Porter Regional Hospital. She was born July 12, 1949 in Gary, IN to the late C. Lenard and Kathleen (Jones) LaCoss. Sue retired from Bethlehem Steel Security Department. She also worked for Hobart Storage and the School City of Hobart for several years. Sue loved reading, listening to music and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid Cub's Fan. Sue is survived by her loving husband Bruce; her two daughters, Dawn (Dan Chase) Granzow of Michigan and Louise (Bill) Timmer of Michigan; three grandchildren Kayla, Jacob and Jayden; her four brothers, Lenard (Georgia) LaCoss of Hobart, Terry (Diane) LaCoss of Florida, Ronnie (Guylene) LaCoss of Michigan and Tim LaCoss of Nevada; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 2, 2017 at REES FUNERAL HOME, 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, IN 46342 with Rev. Richard Boshoven officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
