I have so many happy memories with Jerry in them it is hard to pick just a couple. But I will always cherish the summers Janet and Jerry hosted me (and often a friend) in New York. The wonderful meals full of stimulating conversation, the visits to the museums (especially the unicorn tapesties), and the freedom to explore the city on my own. The other place I always think of when thinking of Jerry is the beautiful home Janet and he had on the Eastern Shore. How Mom, Gary, the boys, and I loved spending weekends there. I loved exploring the rocks, collecting any and everything. I loved the garden, the ducks, and the sailing. Jerry loved to sail and seemed happiest when on the water sailing with his family. He will be missed by many. My condolences to all the family. Even though his was not my blood relative, he is the grandfather of my heart. Marcia Brashear
