I often worked with Ed when I was an editor at popular science magazine and he was one of our regular freelancers. Always a gentleman; always a consummate professional. My condolences to the family.

Ed used to write freelance articles for Popular Science magazine, where I was an editor. I often edited his pieces. Great memories! Elaine (Smay) Gilmore.

I met Ed in person a few times as part of the HealthDay team, but had the pleasure of reading his work on a regular basis. He certainly did a great deal to make the world a better place, and to help us all become better-informed. I am so sorry for your loss.
