MAXINE HALF Obituary

HALF--Maxine, 87, passed suddenly on September 19. Our most loving mother and grandmother whose vibrant personality and giving heart was unsurpassed. Her generosity to all who shared in her life will always be remembered. She never missed a day without talking to her children and grandchildren. She was a fierce advocate for those in need and she was capable of handling whatever challenges life brought. As one of the few working mothers of her time, she gracefully balanced a career while raising children. In 1948 she and her late husband, Robert Half, established the firm Robert Half & Accountemps. She was a brilliant force in business and instrumental in making the company grow worldwide; yet, her true joy was her family. We feel so fortunate to have celebrated so many wonderful times with her. She was always full of energy and loved life. Her kindness, generosity, beautiful soul and selflessness will always be cherished by us. She inspired us to be our best and always told us to love ourselves. Without Grandma Mac and Mom, our hearts are broken and our tears endless, but our memories and joys are immeasurable. Nancy and Donny Peggy and Marc Stephanie, Kevin, Ryan, Adam Lauren and Stephanie

My heart goes out to all of you . I wish there were some words I could use to comfort you. She was my idol and it was because of her and your Dad that our lives became so rewarding and wonderful. May they both rest in peace. I hope there is some way they will know how important and meaningful they were in our lives. Annette S. Grishman
