ROSOFF--Sidney. Sidney Rosoff, died peacefully at home on Friday, January 4, 2019. He was 94. Well regarded in the community, he always had a twinkle in his eye. Graduate of New York University and Harvard Law School, Rosoff was a lawyers' lawyer, specializing in tax, trust and estates. Involved with the American Craft Council since 1952, he was instrumental in opening its museum. Chairman of the Society for the Right to Die, President of the Hemlock Society, Founder and President of the World Federation of Right to Die Societies, and Honorary Deputy Chief of the New York City Fire Department. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Joann, children, Robert, Nancy, and Charles, and grandchildren, Heather, Andrea, and Benjamin. Contributions to Park Avenue Synagogue or American Craft Council.
