Stan Applebaum was a kind and brilliant man. He worked with my mother, songwriter Peggy Stokes, on her demos and brought the finest studio musicians and vocalists of the day - early 50's - to play on her demos, which he arranged of course. And they're timeless. I had lunch with him in NYC in the early 2000's, some years after my mom was gone. His achievements had become many ... and historic by then. Sorry he's gone. I'm sure he had may more stories to tell.

To the Applebaum Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
