Sad news but does anyone know if she was on faculty at Rutgers/Douglass in New Brunswick or some other campus? I have a drawing by her and want to donate it to the most relevant museum in her memory.

I'm so sorry to hear the news. She touched so many lives in the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
(CFS) group which she was leading when I met her around 1995. She gave me and others so much support. The group became inactive, but she still advocated and supported us by volunteering for the CFS community by phone. She has probably supported hundreds of people within the CFS community. She was there when I needed her the most and she was very good at educating and supporting those of us in her community who had CFS. She was a very special person who really cared about people no matter what nationality, religion or culture they came from.
I send my condolences to her loved ones and friends.

So sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. She was an amazing teacher, mentor and friend. She and I celebrated the same birth date, so I wanted to wish her a Happy Birthday and may you rest in peace dear friend.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I met her in 2012 when she came to our support group in Delray. Joyce struggled greatly with her health and fought hard to stay alive. I admired her tenacity throughout it all. R.I.P. Joyce!
