Dear Peter and Gigi,
I send my sympathy and special thoughts of Connie at this sad time. As I write I am looking at my portrait that your mother painted of me in 1995, very glamorous. In 2001, Connie drove herself to PA., a first for her, to spend 3 days painting in the garden. I also remember the day your mom and dad showed up, unannounced, when I was visiting Thomas in Provence. We spent 2 days together sampling some fine, French cuisine. Good times spent together in NYC, East Morris and Ridgefield where the Aronson's came to share Christmas dinner with us and Fr. Bob.! Nice memories

First of all, Sincerest sympathies to the entire Aronson family! I met Connie and Herb when they were spending much time commuting between their homes in Connecticut and New York. A friend introduced me to be a substitute driver while their regular went on vacation. Well, we hit it off and I became their regular driver right away. We spent many hours chatting and laughing on our trips back and forth. I shared a mutual love of sports with Herb and a love of good food and art with Connie. It wasnt until Connie needed full time health care that I stopped driving Miss Daisy, as my friends would say. Connie was a caring, adventurous, creative, witty, wonderful soul and I was blessed to have known her! I think of her every day as my home is adorned with three of her beautiful paintings. May peace, love, and wonderful memories carry you through this difficult time of loss. Love, Jane Truelove and family
