I want to thank everyone who signs this book for their kind thoughts as well as those who attended Dad's funeral service. Dad lived a long, productive, and fulfilling life, leaving a deep professional and personal legacy. He lived his life on his own terms to the very end, steadfastly insisting on his independence. We will miss him deeply, especially his wonderful sense of humor and vast store of anecdotes about his life and profession.

I thank all of you who sign this book for your comforting words. Dad lived a long and full life, able to see his children and grandchildren (plus great grandchildren) and his inventive developments and buildings develop satisfying lives. He leaves a lasting legacy. We will miss him.
