Jeffrey Romano Obituary
He was born in Washington, July 27, 1989, a son of John Romano and Theresa Lynn McAllister Povich.
He was a 2007 graduate of Trinity High School. He then went on to attend California University of Pennsylvania. He worked as an assistant manager for Dairy Queen in Pittsburgh. He enjoyed cooking and was a lover of sports. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and always enjoyed attending games with his "pappap" Joe and dad.
During his young life, he had played football and wrestled. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, music and being with his family and friends. He was always the center of attention and always made everyone laugh. He had a passion to ride his dirt bike with his dad. He enjoyed his long talks with his stepdad, John. He remained a faithful Christian throughout his life.
Surviving are his father, John Romano (Desiree) of Washington; his mother, Theresa Lynn "Terri" and John Povich of Naples, Fla.; three sisters, Julie Romano of Naples, Joleen Romano of Washington and Janine Romano of Washington; three brothers, Joseph Romano of Washington, Joshua Povich of Naples and Jonathan Povich of Naples; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Sally Romano of Washington; maternal grandfather, George (Helen) McAllister of Palm Harbor, Fla.; maternal great-grandmother, Margaret McAllister of West Mifflin; godfather George (Sandy) Winter of Washington; godmother and aunt Nancy (Kenny) Jozwick of Washington; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a maternal grandmother, Geraldine McAllister; paternal great-grandparents, Anthony (Eva) Romano and John (Pearl) Dubelle; maternal great-grandparents, Louis McAllister and William (Betty) Yost; and a cousin, Erik Jozwick.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday in Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, PA 15301, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 9. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.

I met Jeff in Florida in 2013, He was great... Loved his Pittsburgh Sports, I was wearing a penguins shirt in Stpete, Florida and he immediately came up to me and started conversation W me... We became friends that day.. I last saw him in 2016 right after Thanksgiving when he tried to get an old girlfriend of mine a job.. He'd do anything he could to help out.. Always there to talk too and had a great smile, laugh and personality to boot.. Very sad to hear about his passing but know that he is in a better place.. My sincere condolences to his family and friends! Say a word for me brother, I know you will! God Bless
