Lauri Diamond Obituary
Lauri Diamond, 67, passed away of natural causes on November 22, 2020. She was born to the late Bert and Helen Kutella on June 28, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois.
Lauri was retired from therapy/counseling services. She had earned Associate, Bachelor, and Masters degrees after raising two children as a cosmetologist and bartender. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addiction Professional, in 2006 Lauri founded the Choices Counseling and Intervention Center in Ocala.
Lauri was a life-long advocate of animal rescue, often having 5-10 dogs in her home at one time. She lived with them like they were her children. She was preceded in death by her son Jon, two brothers, and her parents. Lauri is survived by her daughter Brandi, granddaughter Sadie, sister Linda, and brothers Michael and Paul.

Lauri was a friend and colleague who I worked alongside for many years. She shard her expertise and I credit her with helping me attain a Certified Addictions Professional credential. So sorry for your loss.
