Born on June 25, 1939, to Samuel and Mae Diamond in Baltimore, MD, Arthur graduated from Central High School in Philadelphia in 1957 and then from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in 1960 with a degree in finance. He worked as a Civil Servant for the Department of the Army as a logistics general manager.
Husband of the late Judith Diamond for 38 years and Marlyss Diamond since 2008. Father of Melissa (Mike) Kozloff. Grandfather of Michael Kozloff and Mason Kozloff and his "Granddog," Blondie. Stepfather of Todd (Marlene) Karlin and Step-grandfather of Sydney Karlin. Also remembered by numerous cousins.
Arthur had a deep appreciation for all kind of music, especially Classical. He loved all kind of trains, treasure-hunting at thrift stores, checkers and chess, playing Words With Friends with Melissa, and taking cruises with Marlyss.
Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 12:30 PM precisely at Roosevelt Memorial Park (section B-7), 2701 Old Lincoln Highway, Trevose, PA 19053.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to The Gift of Chess, https://www.thegiftofchess.org/.
