Robert "Bucky" Jacob Allison Jr., of Colonial Beach, Virginia, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, at the age of 84.
Born on May 16, 1941, in Richmond County, Virginia, Bucky was a hardworking and devoted family man who spent his life providing for those he loved. A skilled craftsman, he owned and operated Bucky's Floor Service for more than 30 years, building a reputation for quality work, reliability, and pride in every job he completed. He believed in honest work and took great satisfaction in working with his hands.
Bucky was married to his beloved wife, Eunice Marie Allison, and together they created a home filled with love, laughter, and strong family values. He was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished time with his family. He is survived by his sons: Robert (Georgie), Donald (Joyce), and David (Amy); along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him endless joy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert J. Allison Sr. and Nellie Mae Washington; his son, Ricky Allison; his grandchild, Joey Allison; his brother, Johnny Allison; and his two sisters, Ida and Ann.
Bucky enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He loved pitching horseshoes, tending to his gardens, and spending time outdoors. He especially loved dancing. Above all, he will be remembered as a simple, kind, steady man whose quiet strength and dedication meant everything to his family.
His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched and the family he so faithfully cared for.
Celebration of Life Services will be announced at a later date.
