On Saturday, February 7th, 2026, Brenda Johnson, loving mother of 4 kids passed away at the age of 78. Brenda was born September 22nd, 1947 in Stafford, Virginia to Rena and John Howdershelt. Brenda was the youngest of 15 kids. Brenda graduated from Woodbridge Senior High School in 1966 alongside her best friend Lena McLlister. Brenda also retired from the US Government Department of the Army.

Brenda is a jack of all trades. She is a well-known DJ also known as DJ Q-Sue. She absolutely loved to work on cars and she passed everything she knew onto her kids and grandkids. She loved just hanging with her family and friends and listening to music and especially just relaxing with her dog Bella. She absolutely loved her golden girl, Medina Banks Thornton to death; they were friends for life.

Brenda will live on through her 4 kids (Scott Luctman, Lori Luctman, Mary Johnson and Tina Jackson), her 12 grandchildren (Ryan, Carson, William Jr., Tamera, Lakira, Jamarah, Maleah, Lamyah, Quay'Veon, Aliyana, Kevondre and Kevaylah), and her lovely 4 great-grandchildren (Dezmend, Zaniya, Zymere and Andre), and many loving family and friends and more.
