Robert L. "Bob" Blaylock

Robert L. "Bob" Blaylock, 73, of Troy, IL, born Saturday, August 23, 1952, in Bristol, VA and passed away on
Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at BJC Medical Center, St. Louis, MO.

Bob retired from United States Airforce with 23 years active-duty service. He then worked for and
retired from Triad School District Transportation Department. He enjoyed playing Softball, supporting
High School sports and St. Louis Cardinals Baseball. He loved family time, road trips, shopping and going
on long trips to visit with his extended family. Bob never met a stranger and always had a new joke to
tell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman D. and Roxie L (nee Shupe) Blaylock; his son, Kyle
Uhring; a grandson, Jason D. Westberry; and his sister, Carolyn Jones.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara (nee Mueller) Blaylock; children, Dan (Diann)Westberry of Highland, Il,
William (Rae) Blaylock of Elizabethtown, KY, Candace (Scott) Reaves of Aberdeen, NC, Alan Netemeyer
of Highland, IL, Jennifer (James) Phillips of Belleville, IL, Amanda (Mark) Griese of O'Fallon, MO, Brittney
(Aaron) Dixon of Germantown, IL; and his daughter-in-law, Alicia Uhring of Aviston, IL; 23 grandchildren,
3 great-grandchildren and one in the oven; his brothers, Cliff Blaylock of Knoxville, TN, Ronnie (Roxann)
Blaylock of Bristol, VA; sister, Phyllis (Tom) Hood of Colonial Beach, VA; brother-in-law, Don Brinkley of
Biloxi, MS; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
