Roger Albrecht Obituary
Roger W. Albrecht, 73, of Granite City, IL, born December 1, 1952, in Staunton, IL passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.
Roger retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad where he worked as a Conductor/Switchman for many years. He also worked for Hanson Oil Company, Hamel, IL. He was a graduate of Greenville High School Class of 1970. He graduated from SIUE with a Degree in Business Administration. He enjoyed life, his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor William and Betty (nee Knop) Albrecht and a niece Elizabeth Albrecht.
Surviving are his siblings, Nancy (Brian) Gasteiner of Arlington Hts., IL, Randall (Bev) Albrecht of Summerfield, FL, Jane (Michael) Eaton of Greenville, IL and Ralph Albrecht of Troy, IL; nieces and nephews, Natalie (Toby) Speechley, Jonathon (Kelsey) Gasteiner, Scott (Jessica) Eaton, Todd (Katie) Eaton; great nieces and nephews, Quinn Gasteiner, James Gasteiner, Evie Speechley, Jax Speechley, Tate Eaton, Ada Eaton and Ella Eaton; cousins, two aunts an uncle and many friends.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Roger. Online expressions of sympathy may be made at www.Richesonfh.ocm
