dear family of Roger Phillips, I am sorry to see that Roger has passed away! You all have my sincere condolences. Roger was a kind and gentle man. I met him at Heather Knoll nursing home earlier this year. He was very helpful to a shy elderly man. They seated me at his table in the lunchroom there. He knew everyone that worked in the lunchroom. Roger was very outgoing, my hearing was poor and he would help me order my meals. If I ever lacked anything he would call someone working there to get it for me. He knew them all my name. The staff there respected him and liked him. I think that he is being repaid up in heaven right now! Because I think the kindness that he showed towards me, he showed with everyone that he met. God bless you Roger, and your family! I hope that I am a good enough person, that I will someday join you up there! RIP my friend! PS by the way my brother Joe was a principal at a school that Roger went to when he was a child. I think it was Jennings, but I am not sure. Signed Joe and Nick Cistone
