Wanda Liggett Obituary
TALLMADGE -- Wanda K. Liggett, 95, passed away peacefully at her home with her family present January 20, 2014.
Born in Midvale, Ohio, Wanda has lived most of her life in the Akron and Tallmadge area. She was a homemaker, a member of North Hill Methodist Church and Tallmadge United Methodist Church, Women's Art League of Akron and she was involved with The Cuyahoga Valley Art Center.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Liggett; sister, Margaret Riley; daughter-in-law, Linda Liggett; and two grandchildren, Mathew and Mark.
She is survived by daughter, Donna (Richard) Prulhiere of Tallmadge; sons, Ron (Jena) Liggett of North Lawrence, Gary (Maureen) Liggett of Suffield, David (Marcia) Liggett of Newcomerstown, Thomas (Jean Hannen) Liggett of Atwater; brother, Charles (Irene) Riley; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, January 24, 2014 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave., (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle) with Rev. Dave Maly officiating. Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014 and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
