Michael "Mikey" Joseph Esterle, 17, went home to be with his Savior on Monday, April 28, 2014.
Friends may call at Highpoint Christian Church, 2545 W. Comet Rd., TODAY, May 1, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m., where service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m., Pastor John Stahl officiating. Interment at Manchester Cemetery. Donations may be made in Michael's name to Chapel Hill Christian School, 946 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd., Akron, OH 44312 or The First Tee of Akron, 2000 S. Hawkins Ave., Akron, OH 44314. Church map, directions, and the Esterle Family condolence book are available at the funeral home website.

Almost a year later and I still think about Mike all the time. I went to school with him and wish i would've became closer with him. So sorry for your loss. Stay Strong and remember Michael is looking down from heaven missing you too.

My sincere condolences for your loss. I knew Mike from PLCC . He was a very good student and enjoyed conversing with him after class. I know his cousins Andy and Jason from my church and I know they will surely miss Mike. I am so glad he accepted Jesus Christ as his savior. We can all hope for that day when we can be reunited with all our loved ones in the house of the Lord.

Mikey...... We met in preschool and that's were the friendship started ! We parted ways after that but reunited in 7th grade ! From that day forward we spent every weekend together and almost every day over the summer ! Wether we were skating at Akron park or swimming in your pool we always new how to have fun ! I always had your back through the hard times and was on your side through any dilemah . I couldn't have asked for a better friend to spend my youth with ! The best times we had together was skating the infamous thirsty gator mini ramp with our tag along buddy Logan ! No matter what I always loved you ! Always have and always will !
