Tanny Esterle (born Stanlene P. Hinkle) passed away unexpectedly on February 22, 2024 surrounded by her treasured family.
Tanny was born to the late Stanley and Irene (Vanke) Hinkle on October 5, 1945 in Akron, Ohio. She graduated from East High School, followed by Hammel Business College. While there, she met the love of her life, Howard Esterle, with whom she was married for 58 years. After Howard's time in the Navy, they settled in Sharon Township to raise their family. Tanny retired from Medina General Hospital where she worked for many years as a medical transcriptionist.
Tanny is survived by her beloved husband, Howard; son Brian Scott (Kelly), son Lukas (Ryan); and grandson Dylan. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her family. She loved attending theater to support Lukas and she enjoyed traveling to many bowling centers to watch Howard, Brian Scott and Dylan. Tanny was also an avid bowler for many years as well. Also bringing her great joy was supporting her grandson Dylan with his many activities. Finally, she loved cheering on her Cleveland sports teams, sitting right next to Howard.
Tanny will be most remembered for her kind and selfless heart and not a day will go by that she will not be missed and memories of her cherished.
There will be a private service for the family at a later date.
