Mace Williams Obituary
A true gentleman, Mace was a loving and devoted husband, a wonderful father, and a steadfast friend who would give you the shirt off his back. He was raised in the Baptist Church and was a devout Christian with an abiding faith. Mace had a wide range of creative talents including playing the guitar, composing original music, creating stained glass artwork, and writing poetry. He was also well-known for his sense of humor and love of teasing. He will be dearly missed.
Family visitation will be held at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home (West) in Watkinsville from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12. A memorial service will follow immediately thereafter in the Lord & Stephens chapel. For those who wish to do so, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice.

Julie I am saddened at the loss of Mace. He was always a kind and fun friend. Though we lost track over the years I would always think about the time that we shared. He will be missed Mike Griffith

Julie & Matthew,
We are so terribly sorry to learn of his untimely passing into spirit. Mace was a good man, and a good friend. We went hiking together all over north Georgia, traded puns until our family & friends would run away from us, and generally enjoyed each other's company a great deal. He was my best man when I got married in May of 1991, and Matthew was just a few months old. Although Life took us in different directions eventually, he was always in our hearts, and will stay there forever. I treasured his friendship, and will miss him greatly.
