James Lindsey Obituary

Greensboro, Ga. - James Thomas (BO) Lindsey Sr., 60, of 3000 Hwy 15 South, Greensboro, Ga., died July 10, 2003.
A native of Greene County, Mr. Lindsey was a son of the late James G. Lindsey and Jeanette Denton. He worked as a Maintenance Technician for Flambeau and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm. He was retired from the National Guard with a total of 35 years of service. He was a member of VFW, Greensboro, and First Baptist Church, Union Point.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Union Point, with the Rev. Wayne Usry. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Greenview Cemetery, Greensboro with full military services.
Survivors include his wife, Marie H. Lindsey; a daughter, Kimberly Ellis, Greensboro; two sons, Josh Lindsey and Jay Lindsey, both of Greensboro; two sisters, Nancy Callaway, Union Point, and Tammy Cescon, Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Glenn, Lowell Harrison, Donnie Harrison, Donald Godbee, Tom McGibony, Richard Adams, Comer Tolbert, Chris Shockley and Harold Griffith.
Callaway Funeral Home, Union Point, has charge of arrangements.
