Dear Norma. As you know, Pete and I were grateful to have Manny as a neighbor. He always had a story to tell and was always willing to help out when needed. We did contribute to Bishop Moore - I couldn't see a spot where one put the In Memory part. We send our sympathies. Julie and Pete

Carlos, my heart goes out to you and your family. Your dad was a great man who instilled a love of life and family in his children and grandchildren. May good bottles of wine be drunk, cigars be smoked, songs be sung, and stories be told for many years in rembrance of him. Hug.

Dear Norma and Family: Sam and I are feeling lonely today as we read about Manny. We think about Manny and Norma and big smiles spread our faces. We had many wonderful nights singing and dancing and just enjoying being together with his Cuban friends at medical society parties. He was someone we will always remember. We will miss him.

I never met Mr. Coto, but knew one of his sons years ago. My deepest love and sympathy goes out to all friends and family of this incredible renaissance man. May God help you all through this time of loss, memories and reminiscence. We have so little time with those we love;, every moment and memory of their precious existence shapes our lives long after they leave us. May his exuberance for life, love, laughter, music, and family continue to brighten the lives of those that loved him most. He will never really leave you because he lives on in each of you. God be with you as you continue this life without his light.

Dr. Coto was a WONDERFUL man. I have fond memories of our lunches at the VA, where he would entertain me with stories from his past, discussions on our present circumstances, and hopes for our future. Dr. Coto is dancing and singing on the other side, and will forever watch over his beloved family. He will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to the family, Annette Chaffee

He touched so many lives... and sent forth amazing children into the world. Going to college with Juan Carlos, Dr. Coto took an interest in his children's friends. When the school doctor couldn't figure out what was wrong with me, Dr. Coto told Juan Carlos to send me to him -- and onto the Turnpike to Orlando I went. Scared, a bit out of sorts, he was gentle, funny and set me at ease. Wrote me a prescription, and sent me on my way.
I'll never forget that smile, that kindness. The world has a hole a mile wide in it, and it's up to the kids to keep that power of positivity in this world. Good thoughts, prayers and heart to all of the family, friends and lives Dr. Coto touched.
