Dear Taylor & Gary,
I used to babysit Taylor and Alex back when you lived in Texas, Imperial Oaks to be precise. Susan was one of the most generous, warmest, most beautiful, and inspiring people I've ever met. She gave me a painting for my birthday one year which I still treasure. I believe she also inspired my love of music and art as well. She made me see how exciting the act of creating something could be because she was so passionate. I became an artist in later years after you all had moved to Florida. Anyway, the time I spent with Taylor and Alex will always mean a great deal to me. They were both so full of energy and fun, but also warm and sweet. What a wonderful family to have known. I can't believe Susan and Alex are gone. Much love to you both.

I still think about Alex until this day, and i always will. A day doesn't go by that i dont think about you, man. I saw you the last day of school, and i had no idea that would be the last time that i would see you. I really do miss you, man. Mr. Bradford and Taylor, i really hope you guys are still coping. May Susan and Alex rest in peace. We all miss you in Wellington.

My condolences to the entire family and to all of the friends around the world who are grieving the loss of Susan and Alex.
Susan and I talked via internet for over a decade and I regret we never met in person. She was one of the most talented, kind people and was a joy to know.
We shared many conversations about art, family, love, life and I will miss her greatly.

I still can't believe you are gone Susan. You were such a vital part of my life and made such an impact on me. You lived a mile from me in Sunrise Fl and threw me Marissa's baby shower. You lived a block away from me in Houston and I helped you paint Alex's baby room, was in the hospital room when you had him. We played cards, built things, painted things, in the middle of the night we took midnight bike rides and talked till early hours of the morning. I so regret that we didn't talk after we both moved from Houston. I wish I got to know your kids as adults and you got to know mine. Losing you made a profound impact on me, I always thought we'd get back together after the kids grew up but now I know I should never have put it off. There is no guarentee of tomorrow and now I don't have the chance to tell you how much you meant to me. I never got to tell you that because of you I did some faux painting, that I painted a painting and framed it and hung it in my house. You always believed in me. You were so full of life, I have so many memories of you that I will cherish forever. I just wish I had one more day, just to tell you what you meant to me.

Gary and Taylor,
I will really miss Susan. She wrote beautiful words on Caringbridge for me. What a beautiful person. She did that beautiful painting for me at the last reunion. When I look at the painting of a Sunflower it reminds me of her. She was so full of life. Alex to.
I just want ya'll to know I love ya'll and if there is anything I can do for ya'll let me know.

Thoughts and Prayers,
Wanda

Alex you were a funny person and a good friend. I will never forget all the fun times we had in 4th period and after school. You will be miss, not only by me but by everyone that has met you and gotten to know you. there will allways be something missing in 4th period without you there. I will miss you and I will never forget you.

Dear Gary and Taylor,
Words can not express my sadness. I just heared the news yesterday. I am sorry, I was not able to attend the funeral. I will never forget the time we came to visit and went scuba diveing and ate dinner with the pope. I will always cherish the time that we spent together. I will never forget Alex's smile and his laughter. It was an honor just to know them. I am so thankful for the painting that she gave me while I was their. I try to take some comfort in the beauty of her painting, and it helps me feel like a part of her is still with me. It will be a constant reminder of her beauty and love. God bless.Love your cousin. Life is a gift. We go through life day to day just to live; not to enjoy. It's sad to think that such a tragedy is the only thing that truly makes us realize just that. I never knew Mrs. Bradford or Alex that well for that matter. But through common friends I knew Alex. Unfortunetly I feel I know him better now than before, but I wish I would of gotten to know him. I've never heard a bad word spoken about either of them, they seemed like such beautiful happy caring people. Alex had a smile that was contagious, it effected everyone around, spreading down the hall. They will both be greatly missed but their presence will remain.

We Know....

We know you have paint and brushes
And have lots of things to do
You are setting up your studio
And won't stop until you're through

We know you will bring smiles to others
As you have many new friends to meet
You will teach them to paint, sculpt, and create
And walk to their own beat

We know you will speak to us
As your creative talents fly
We just need to look up
To see your canvas in the sky

We know you are not alone
As Alex is with you
Heaven will never be the same
And there will be a lot more laughter too

We know you were the most amazing mom
And Alex such a ham
You poured your life into him
Such an amazing young man

We know you will watch over
Your friends and family
We have our guardian angels
We surely all agree

We know you are in Gods hands
He has His plans its true
Our lives are so much richer
Because of our time with you

We Know.....

They say you can't choose your family. I have to say that is not true. Susan was my sister, Gary my brother and Taylor and Alex my nephews. I love you all as if you are a part of me. Our loss is tremendous. Until we can be together again in heaven I will have to rely on my memories of my unpredictable Susan and my bubbly Alex. My heart will never be the same again. I will cherish all of our times together. You all have blessed me with your love.

Alex and Mrs. Bradford were such wonderful people. Alex was such a funny person, and he truly cared for all of his friends. He always made me laugh, and would go to lengths to make sure everyone was having a good time, even when it meant laughing a bit at himself. Mrs. Bradford was one of the kindest and most creative people I've known. I remember being blown away the first time I came to your house and saw how beautiful it is. Also, I don't know how many camping trips the girls would have missed if she hadn't come along as a female advisor. I will always remember all of the great times I had with them. Mr. Bradford and Taylor, my thoughts are with you. Just know that you have lots of friends who would love to help you through this.

Alex always brought a smile to my face thruout the time I knew him. It still cracks me up when I remember having to sit through years of Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts whenever he and my brother would act up -- not pay attention, talk and joke with me, create general havock -- It would always seem to get them in trouble but they thought they were just having fun. Alex also made me and so many others laugh at school. He had such a great sense of humor and he made me funnier when we were together. And Susan.... I still remember seeing her artwork for the first time and being blown away. And one time at one of those dreadful Boy Scout meetings at the church she sat down with me and taught me how to sketch a face. I still draw a face with those skills she taught me so many years ago. I also remember coming home one summer and found the paintings she did for me hanging in my room. How can I ever forget how wonderful she was to me? I wish we had more time for sculpting -- I still have the tools and block she has for me to learn. Alex and Susan will always be in my heart. To Gary and Taylor, you both are strong and I know you will get through this. But if u ever need my very odd humor just come on by or give me a call. I love you guys very much. Always keep in your hearts what is beloved and blessed. And also always remember the beautiful life that was in both of them.

Alex was a great person always livening up rooms. He would always have something funny to say no matter what was going on. I still can't believe he's gone. He lived less then a mile away from me and I took my last exam with him. Alex is one of my good friends and way to young to go ,but I guess thats just how things work. God bless Taylor and Gary Bradford for there loss, I can't imagine what there going through, and God bless Susan and Alex I know they'll be looking down watching us. We'll always remember you bro. Dear Bradford Family:

We can't begin to tell you how sorry we are to hear the news of Susan and Alex. I have admired Susan's work, but most of all I knew Alex. I was his elementary school crossing guard. We would spend many days at Greenview Shores and Greenbriar talking about scouts, as my son MJ was in scouts on the trail to becoming an eagle scout. My daughter who is a senior at Wellington is deeply sorry to hear about Alex. She knew him from school and said she would see Alex everyday in the halls. He will truly be missed. The halls at WHS will not shine as bright. God Bless You All! The Carnevale Family
