Thomas Curtis WHITESELL

1941 - 2018

Col. Thomas Curtis Whitesell, 77, was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 18, 1941. Graduated from Haverford School and continued on to receive a BA in American History from Pennsylvania Military College, MA in Guidance and Counseling from Wayne State University and Doctor of Education from Louisiana State University. Was married to Charon Jean Stouffer on August 20, 1966; they were married 51 years. Served as an Officer (82ABN,5thSF, MSC) in The United States Army for 29 years. He enjoyed water sports, travel and spending time with family. He was also involved in church leadership, International and local missions and Kairos. Is survived by wife Charon (Stouffer), son Dr. Thomas C. Whitesell, Jr. (Jan), daughter Andrea J. Priest (Lee), grandchildren Adam, Liliana, Lena, and Joshua and brother Dr. James J. Whitesell (Tallulah). Is preceded in death by his parents Melvin W. Whitesell and Dorothy J. Whitesell.
