Sean Tuttle Obituary

SEAN TUTTLE Sean Tuttle, 45, of Chico, California, passed away on Wednesday, Septem-ber 3, 2014. Cause of death was a heart attack. Sean was born in Heidelberg, Germany to Susan and Timothy Tuttle. In 1977, his family moved to Simi Valley, California. Sean gradu-ated from Royal High School in 1987 and went to college at California State University, Chico where received a bachelor's degree in 1993. He was married to Cathy Small Tuttle and they lived in Chico. Sean joined the Peace Corps in 1995 and spent two years in Papua New Guinea with his first wife, Signe Hancock. He was always dedicated to making a difference in the world and helping those less fortunate. Sean ultimately became a high school teacher at Ridgeview High School in Paradise, California. He worked at Ridgeview until his passing. Sean was a passionate teacher, his strengths were history, government, art and yearbook. He loved working with the tougher kids and focused on changing the lives of all the kids he taught. Sean loved his family and friends and led a simple, rich life in Chico. He loved spending time with his children, watching soccer with his friends, and traveling. Sean is survived by his wife Cathy, two children Finnley (age 3) and Phoebe (10 months), mother Susan Tuttle, Father Tim Tuttle, sister Kim Jones and brother Trevor Tuttle.
