These have been five very long years without you. The horses miss your knowledge, skill, and gentle approach. The horse owners miss your compassion and integrity and your dedication to your profession. We all miss that special Mark Ott grin and sense of humor. No one else will ever be able to fill the footprints you left across the sands of our lives.
So wish you were here with us.

Thinking of you as another year has passed. It´s hard to believe that Dr. Ott has been gone 4 years, he was the most compassionate that ever and he is missed everyday.

Dear Pam and Family,
Words cannot express how much we loved and cared for Mark. He was always there for us and our horses. We were honored to have had him as our veterinarian for nearly 40 years. During those years he saw and shared our laughter and our tears. He gave our new foals their start in life, did wonders for those "not to be stallion material" colts, kept our show horses in the winners circle, and comforted us through those we lost. His very being at the ranch gave us every confidence that our horses would be diagnosed and well taken care of. His infectious grin and his kind and compassionate nature will be so sadly missed. We know that no amount of love shared will bring back this larger than life man to help you in your sorrow. Please know that he will be greatly missed not only as a vet but as our friend. Love Ron and Janet Burke

Early loss is the hardest. Pam, our hearts are broken and the sorrow so difficult in Mark's leaving.
What an awesome team the two of you created. Mark's compassion, his remarkable sill and caring, his professionalism and integrity, his faithful and unstinting giving to his community and clients have become legendary.
Some losses are almost too much to bear, and this is one of those. Both Jim and I want to express our deep gratitude to you and to your two boys and their families for sharing Mark with all of us all these years. We stand with you and pray for you for the Lord's comfort and healing presence during this very difficult time of grief.
With our love and gratitude, Jim and Sandie Dutcher.

Dear Pam and Family,
We are praying for you and your entire family. Can't imagine the devastating effects of Mark's passing so suddenly. Your extraordinary example of marriage, parenthood, and community service is a legacy that will last to those who loved Mark, you and his equally extraordinary sons, Zach and Justin. God Bless you all...

Dr. Ott was a remarkable vet, a kind man with a huge heart, the funniest person, and so very compassionate. I pray for his family and his staff. Gone way too soon, and will be missed by so many!! I honestly can say that I loved him, and I can only imagine the void he will leave behind. He helped so many, especially me, taught me so much, and I will forever be grateful to him.
