Daryl M. Loo

Daryl M. Loo, age 77 passed away February 24th, 2026 at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, IN. He was born September 10th, 1948 to parents Nancy Wong Kacian and father Samuel Loo in Kaneohe, Hawaii. He was a US Air Force veteran and had a great sense of humor while also being a great lover of film. He loved to tend to his avocado tree that he cultivated while living in California. Daryl loved his dogs Luna and Baby Girl and was a coin collector as well as a puzzle enthusiast. Most of all Daryl loved his family especially his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his parents, his sister Nannette "Bunny" Kacian, his brother Dennis "Butchie" Loo, his son Ben Elsey, and his Grandson Andy Elsey.

A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1 PM Wednesday, March 4th 2026 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis, KY. Bro. Jeff Paris will officiate.

Visitation will be from 10 AM until service time on Wednesday, March 4th at the Funeral Home.
