Judy Collins

Judy Collins age 77 of Sturgis passed away on Saturday 2/28/2026 at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN. She was born November 13, 1948 to the late Charles & Lucille Pease in Sturgis, KY. She was a member of Grangertown Baptist Church. She worked as a coal miner for 10 years and also worked as a beautician for 10 years. She was born and raised in the Sturgis area. She attended Henderson Community College and she enjoyed working with flowers and making arrangements along with listening to country music.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles A. & Lucille Pease, a brother-n-law Jerry Barid.

Tommy Pease of Evansville, IN

2 – Grandchildren 1 – Great Grandchildren

Funeral will be 2 PM on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis, KY.

Reverend Jeff McMann will officiate.

Visitation will be from 11 AM until service time on Tuesday, March 3rd at the funeral home.

Burial at Caseyville Cemetery in Sturgis, KY.
