JOSEPH S. on Easter March 23, 2008, formerly of Manayunk, age 84. Husband of the late Marion L. (nee Schaffer); father of Eileen P. Beyer (Glenn); grandfather of Brian, Jonathan, and David Beyer; uncle of Elsie Marchese, and Frances Skrypnyk. Relatives and friends are invited to Viewing Thursday eve. 7 to 9 P.M. at THE KOLLER FUNERAL HOME, 6835 Ridge Ave. (cor. of Livezey) Phila PA 19128, and to Funeral Service Friday, 10:30 A.M., at Ridge Ave. United Methodist Church, 7805 Ridge Ave., Phila. PA 19128. Interment George Washington Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in his memory to above named Church would be appreciated.

Dear Eileen and family,
Your dad was truly a blessing to those who knew him. He was so sweet, thoughtful and considerate of those around him. I will miss him and his wonderful ways, as I'm sure you will, to a much greater extent.

Dear Eileen, Glenn and family,
There are no words to desribe your dad. He is too wonderful for words. He is kind, gentle, loving, sweet a gentleman and so much more. I have never known any other man with his qualities and gentle ways. He has touched my life beyond measure. The sweetness of his compliments, his caring phone calls and letters will touch my heart forever. You have surely been blessed with this loving father as we all have been. God Bless you!!! Hang in there!!! May your sweet memories sustain you at this difficult time.
