MAUREEN WADE Obituary
MAUREEN CATHERINE
Age 60, passed away after a brief illness on April 30, 2018. Born in White Plains, NY, Maureen was a lifelong resident of Drexel Hill and Upper Darby PA. She recently moved to Haddonfield NJ to be close to family.
Maureen will be lovingly remembered by daughter Maya Wade (Drew Cashner); grand-children Dylan and Mackenzie Cashner; siblings Michael Wade (Debra Rush-Wade), Sheila Tobin (John), Patti Wade, Tim Wade (Abby Lang), Kevin Wade (Toni), Brian Wade (Linda), Eileen Wade-Stein (Dave), and many nieces, nephews, family members, friends and colleagues.
Maureen worked at Drexel University for over 30 years, including as a Systems Admin-istrator. She had degrees from both Penn and Drexel Universities.
Maureen dearly loved her grandchildren Dylan and Mackenzie and so many things in the world including cats, hiking, photography, bird watching, crocheting, novels, and being at the beach with family.
We are broken hearted and our world will never be the same.

Maureen was an inspiration, she was always up, always enjoying life. It was my pleasure to volunteer with Maureen at Ridley Creek State Park helping to maintain and improve the trails. She approached every task with enthusiasm and humor. She will be missed.

Dear Maureen,
Thanks for always taking the top bunk, your advice concerning cats and sharing so many wonderful moments in nature. I will always think of you when I walk a trail or hear the birds sing.

What a tragic loss.
A woman who loved her family. A woman who DESPITE personal health issues looked OUTWARDLY...taking action to improve the health and welfare of the powerless.
Dedicated worker, funny and fun loving, smart, sarcastic but in the nicest, funniest way possible.
May Mo's memory live on through the storytelling of her family so that Dylan and Mackenzie will grow up understanding what an awesome person their grandmother was. Maya and family my sincere condolences.
