Sean Mason Obituary
Chesapeake - Sean "Little Feets" Patrick Mason, 47, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 18, 2013.
Born in Norfolk on December 27, 1965, he was preceded in death by his brother Michael Mason.
Sean was a devoted father, husband and friend. He grew up in South Norfolk and was an Alumni of Oscar F. Smith High School. He was employed at Colonna's Shipyard for 23 years as a pipe fitter supervisor. He was an avid fisherman, who loved offshore fishing, in Hatteras,NC. He enjoyed riding his Harley with his Brothers of the Iron Tribe Motorcycle Club and he also was a member of The Eagle's Club Aerie 795. Sean was an easy going person who will be missed greatly.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Scarlet Mason; and his daughter Laura Anne Mason; his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Mason; one brother, Larry "Chip" Mason, Jr.; and his I.T.M.C. brothers as well as many extended family and friends. A memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday September 24, 2013, at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Rd. Chesapeake. A reception will be held at the Eagle's Club, 521 Maple Street, Chesapeake following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Sean's name at the Wells Fargo Bank, 672 N. Battlefield Blvd. Chesapeake, VA. 23320.

When she needs him most
He's there for his brothers and his sisters
With a quick joke to cheer you
He's also there when all they need is just someone to talk to
There are few men like this
Weather you search far or wide
It is a terrible tragedy
When a Brother like this, takes his final ride
But this man Sean
Even after he is gone
Has not left you alone at all
Cause his spirit will carry on
He'll be there when you wake up
On a bright sunny, summer day
His memories will always make you smile
When your world has turned to gray
There's pain in your heart now cause you'll never again hear him say
“Come on Cheer the hell up man” or “Let's roll some miles away”
But know when you roll out to take off for a ride
He'll be here beside you
His spirit riding by your side
Know that your brother
On heavens roads will now roll
On his brand new Harley
That he fabricated from heaven's gold
And just think of the day
That you will see him again
