To the Councill family: My sincere condolences for your loss of such a great man. I never had the pleasure of meeting him but I know J. C. Councill has been around for years. I remember seeing the office even as a child driving in downtown Norfolk. I grew up in Norfolk but now live at the Beach. I became a licensed realtor in 1984, but never had the pleasure of meeting him. The words you have spoken about him reveal what a great man he was. I know you have the comfort that he is with God and is smiling down upon all of you.
