PV2 Jenkins Obituary
Norfolk - Keondre LaTron Jenkins of Portsmouth, VA entered eternal rest in Clarksville, TN; where he was stationed in the Army (Fort Campbell-Kentucky) on Sunday, January 14, 2018. Born on December 6, 1997 to Dwanda LaTessa (Tessa) Dawson (Stacey) and DeAngelo LaTron (Tron) Clark (Keshia), Keondre is the youngest of Tessa's two sons (Amir LaTrey McIntyre-eldest son). Keondre was united in holy matrimony to Taka Kaylene Jenkins on May 4, 2017.
Keondre was awesome and selfless; always giving to others. He enjoyed making people laugh and being around family and friends. Keondre loved music-always dancing and singing. He was the life of any room he entered. His smile would light up the space.
Keondre leaves behind his biological parents, wife, step-father, Stacey Dawson, grandmothers, Ida R. Jenkins (mother), Sheila Clark (father) and Blanche Dawson (stepfather); eight siblings, Amir McIntyre, Jaila Clark, SaiQuan Clark, Keyarrah Warren, DeAngelo Clark, Zayvion Jarret, Kelvontre Lewis and Angel Sykes, and a large extended family including 3 aunts, 6 uncles, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held, 10am, Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby Chapel. Interment will be held at Albert G. Horton Veteran Cemetery, Suffolk, VA.
