Rondle West Obituary

Rondle Royce West Sr., 78, of Shepherdsville, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021, at the Norton Hosparus Unit.
He was a native of Kay Jay, Ky., a retired employee of the Louisville Water Company and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Conley and Sallie West Sr.; and two siblings, Sammy and Dorothy.
Royce is survived by his wife of 57 years, Darlene Oberding West; five children, Rondle West Jr., Aprill (Martin Sr.) Fawbush, Conley, Michael and Richard (Tammy) West; three brothers, Tex Conley, Tony West and Michael West; three sisters, Sandra Hensley, Linda West and Kathryn Morris; 18 grandchildren, Wendy, Martin Jr., Jessica, Jocelyn, Michael Jr., Dylan, Zachary, Cody, Jonathan, Darla, Richard Jr., Danielle, Drewanna, Austyne, Conley Jr., Jenna, Hannah and Carol; great-grandchildren, Zane,Keith, Zander, Westin, Audrey, Amelia and Carter; and a special friend, Tracy Berman.
A visitation will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mount Washington with a Celebration of Life service at 3 p.m.
