PEORIA - Rosemary S. Trump, 85, of J.C. Proctor Endowment Home in Peoria passed away at 5:40 a.m. on Sunday, May 11, 2008, at the OSF Saint Francis Medical Center emergency room.
She was born on March 12, 1923, in Louisville, Ky., to James and Mary Wythers Schwan. She married Frederick R. Trump on Oct. 4, 1947, in Middleport, N.Y. He passed away on July 30, 2007, in Peoria.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
She is survived by one son, Frederick (Susan) Trump of Tinley Park, Ill.; one daughter, Kathleen Kellogg of Carrollton, Texas; and three grandchildren, Aimee, Lisa and Michael.
She was a 1989 Bradley University graduate and a World War II Navy veteran.
Rosemary was a member of St. Philomena Catholic Church and participated in many of its ministries.
She was also a member of the League of Women Voters of Peoria and was a Deputy Voter Registrar and Republican Precinct Committeeman.
She was a member of Peoria Garden Club, Peoria Women's Civic Federation, Peoria City Beautiful, Peoria Women's 9-Hole Golf League, Tri-County Regional Planning and Bradley Institute for Learning in Retirement.
She served 12 years on the Peoria County Board and worked with the Girl Scouts.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Resurrection Mausoleum Chapel, with Rev. David Richardson officiating. There will be no visitation. Entombment will follow the Mass in the mausoleum. Wright & Salmon Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Philomena School Endowment Fund.
