Linda Jordan Obituary
PEORIA - Linda Jean Jordan, 75, of Peoria passed away at 5:07 a.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born April 5, 1946, in Peoria to Lloyde S. and Norine F. (Gabriel) MeNeley, she married Robert Leroy Jordan on June 15, 1964, in Peoria. He passed away on November 23, 1981, in Peoria.
She also was preceded in death by her parents and one half brother, Jerry Henry.
Surviving are two daughters, Tina Stewart of Peoria and Wendy (James) Garnand of Peoria; one son, Robert "Bobby" (Anna) Jordan II of Peoria Heights; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and beloved cat, Baby.
She worked for the YWCA, was a cafeteria worker for Peoria Public School District 150 for 11 years and also worked at Arby's in Peoria on War Memorial Drive.
Linda loved spending time with her family and enjoyed reading and pets.
She was a member of The Pentecostals of Peoria.
Her funeral service will be at held at 11 a.m. Tuesday April 13, 2021, at Preston Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Pastor Jerry Lashley will officiate. A visitation will be held an hour prior. Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
Memorial contributions may be made to Illinois Cancer Care Foundation, 8940 Wood Sage Road, Peoria, IL 61615; or Peoria County Animal Protective Society (PCAPS), 2600 NE Perry Ave., Peoria, IL 61603.
