Dear Acid Allen (Erma), and Ina Alice (Marlon) and Family,
I am so sadden of my "Pretty Cousin's" passing. She held three special titles in my life. First, she was like a sister, then, she was my cousin and my friend. We had such a true family and friend connection that she was married to my cousin, "Bert", Hegwood. She was a beautiful creation and gift made by God. I'll forever cherish our wonderful times together. Many, many, blessings we shared. May you and your family find comfort in remembering that your "Mother" was a person of, " Love and Happiness".

June 16, 2021

To the entire family, we the Montgomery family wish to extend our condolences to you all. We were saddened to learn about the passing of your loved one. I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Hegwood over 44 years ago when she bought Ina to Roosevelt High School to begin classes, her warm smile and gentle spirit gave me an instant connection that I was in the company of a God fearing woman. I will always remember her kindness. Ina you and I go way back, please hold on to your precious memories of your mom, I’ve been where you are now just know that God is always with you. There is comfort in first Thessalonians chapter 4:13-18. Hold on my dear friend. Much love to you and your family.
