I was shocked to learn about Adam's passing. I'm another of his online friends from DailyKos and we spent a lot of time talking shop when it came to photography. I had a huge respect for Ace and felt that same respect in return. Those who aren't familiar with our online community might find it hard to grasp how much people you've never met in person can come to mean to you. I have friends there who are in some ways more important to me then people I've known for years in real life. Adam was one of those and will be sorely missed.

My sincerest condolences to all who love him. Rest easy, Ace. And don't forget to test your focus. ❤

Sorry to hear it of Adam's passing. He was a good guy. We used to share a few beers and talk music many years ago at the Maritime. Rock in Peace, my friend.

Knew him online only, at Daily Kos. He was a gifted photographer and a good soul.

blueyedace led us on many solitary walks on trails that led to the bend at the horizon.

He looked into the distance and close up.

We at DK shared those walks, and now he knows what is around that bend in the distance.

Sleep well and peace. Thank you for all the beauty you shared.

I never got to meet Ace in person, but he was one of my virtual friends at The Daily Kos. During the period when I ran the weekly gripe-fest WYFP, Ace was always there, often the first commenter. Many times people posted things that were truly gut-wrenching problems. Ace was always and unfailingly kind, compassionate, and supportive. He had everybody's back. He shared his nature photographs with us all, and they were beautiful, uplifting works of art, created even though we all knew his RA made walking and taking those photos an act of purest will. It is my great sorrow that I never got to meet him in person, and my heart goes out to his family and loved ones. He is already missed.

Condolences to his family and friends. I only "knew" him through Daily KOS but I so enjoyed his diaries. I always smiled when I would see his work on the recent list. His photography was a joy. I would not doubt he is now trying to find the perfect angle to photograph angels gossamer wings.

Love. Peace.
