EDWARD BRONKAJ Obituary
Age 86, New Kensington, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014, at Bel Air Nursing Home and Rehabilitation, Lower Burrell. He was born June 10, 1928, in North Braddock, son of the late Andrew and Anna (Seman) Boronkay. Edward was formerly of West Mifflin and was a pipefitter for General Motors in Parma, OH for 17 years, White Motor for 11 years, and a WWII veteran serving in the 11th Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. A member of Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Tarentum, and a graduate of Braddock High School. Edward also attended the University of Pittsburgh for two years and enjoyed music and sports. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Dorothy (Darinka Mamula) Bronkaj; son, Andrew (Carolyn) Bronkaj of New Kensington; granddaughter, Alexa Bronkaj; sister, Ann Marie (Albert) Sudina of West Mifflin; and nieces, Deborah and Rhonda Sudina. Preceded in death by his parents only. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum, 724-224-1526, where a Panachida will be conducted on Thursday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. in Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Tarentum, with Rev. Wesley M. Mash, officiating. Interment in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. Parastas will be conducted in the funeral home Wednesday at 7 p.m. Family suggests contributions to Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Tarentum. VISIT:

It was just yesterday I learned of +Eddie's passing. He was a great guy and I cared so much for him as he did me.
He will truly be missed by me. Had hoped to see him before he was called home to God.
God Bless him.
