Our Brother was called home, peacefully, on Saturday, June 9, 2018, surrounded by his family and Roman, his best canine friend. He was the son of the late Joseph and Annette (York) Danzuso; brother to Sam (Patty) Danzuso, Renee (the late Jim) Vlcek, Tina (Ron) Guckert, Joe Danzuso and Danielle (Bob) Bednar; also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thank you to Judy Fabich for her love and support for David. Chef Dave worked in many fine dining restaurants in Pittsburgh and beyond. He was at his best wearing an apron in a kitchen. David enjoyed watching all Pittsburgh sports, but especially Penn State Football. David was a member of the V.F.W. Post 7090 (Troy Hill) spending many Sunday mornings engaging in conversation with retired veterans and playing his favorite poker machine. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to V.F.W. Post 7090, 1902 Sundeman Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 or Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Family and friends received at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Wednesday 2-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 1700 Harper Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
