JACQUES TACHOIR Obituary
87, of Hendersonville, TN, formerly of West Mifflin, passed away on October 10, 2010 at Clare Bridge Nursing Home in Goodlettesville, TN. He was born on February 9, 1923 in Clairton to the late Robert and Bertha Veech Tachoir. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and was stationed in Italy. He was also a former foreman in quality control at Daily's Juice Company in Verona. Jacques was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Hendersonville, TN, former member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in West Mifflin, a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, a life member of the VFW, a member of the Lions Club in Tennessee and the former Dravosburg Lions Club. He is survived by his 3 sons, Roger (Kathy) Tachoir of Clairton, Jack (Kristen) Tachoir of North Huntingdon and Jerry (Marlene) Tachoir of Hendersonville, TN, 5 grandchildren, Jill (John) Hyatt of Meadville, Joel (Amanda) Tachoir of Canonsburg, Carolyn Tachoir of North Huntingdon, Evan Tachoir of Pittsburgh, and Erica Tachoir of Brooklyn, NY, and 3 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Hyatt of Meadville and Lucca and Matthew Tachoir of Canonsburg. He is also survived by sisters Agnes Rushe of Glassport, Catherine Odoski of West Mifflin, Frances (Paul) Schultz of Duquesne and brother Joseph Tachoir of West Mifflin and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Florence Frederick Tachoir who passed in 1996, and brothers, Robert, Leo, Forrest, Thomas and Patrick Tachoir and sister Lois White. Friends and family will be received at the I.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 203 4th Street, Dravosburg on Thursday, October 14, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in West Mifflin at 10AM with Father John Ledvai as celebrant. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park in Pleasant Hills. The family suggests memorial contribution be made to either Avalon Hospice, 2525 Perimeter Place Drive, Suite 121, Nashville, Tennessee 37214 or Clairton Public Library, 616 Miller Avenue, Clairton, Pennsylvania 15025.

I'm sorry but I just now read of Uncle Jack's passing. I had both the honor and pleasure of meeting him on several occasions. You have my sincere condolences. Bruce Tachoir
